Health Insurance Plans
In this day and age medical expenses are skyrocketing. According to a cost study conducted recently by Pricewaterhouse Coopers it has been found that “87 cents out of every premium dollar go directly towards paying for medical services”. A health insurance plan ensures that any expenditure that you incur from an unforeseen medical emergency or a long standing and complicated illness is covered.
Americans find themselves in the favorable position of being able to choose from a wide range of health insurance plans that are being offered by the health care industry. These plans can meet almost any medical requirement as well as financial consideration that you may have. Some of the more popular health insurance plans available in the market are
- Group Health Insurance which is offered by large corporations as well as small business owners to their employees
- Individual Health Insurance or private health insurance which is ideal for the self employed
- Family Health Insurance Plans that offer coverage for your near and dear ones
- Short term Health Insurance acts as a stop gap plan and covers you for a brief period of time when you may be changing jobs, moving to a new state or graduating from college
Other than these there are also student health insurance plans, dental insurance travel insurance and international health insurance
